About Us
A proper café, not a chain.
The Daily Toast is a specialty bakery and coffee shop tucked into Nungambakkam, Chennai — a neighbourhood spot where the coffee is taken seriously and the pace is deliberately slow. We opened because Chennai deserved somewhere you could get a genuinely great pour-over alongside something homemade and honest. Remote workers, book readers, early risers — everyone gets the same warm welcome. Come in, settle down, and stay as long as you like.
What We Serve
The menu, kept simple.
Pour-Over Coffee
Single-origin beans, brewed to order. Each cup is chosen for its character — fruity, floral, or clean — and made the slow way, because it's worth it.
Espresso Drinks
Flat whites, lattes, cortados, cappuccinos — pulled properly, with milk steamed to order. If you want oat milk, just ask.
Homemade Banana Bread
Baked fresh every morning in-house. Dense, moist, and never overly sweet. Pairs perfectly with a black coffee or a flat white.
Baked Goods
A small, rotating selection of house-baked pastries and breads — made to complement the coffee, not overshadow it.
